  My husband was so excited to take us to salt lick. Unfortunately it was not the experience we expected. The wait to sit on the patio wasn't that long. Once we were seated at what seemed like the kiddie table (our knees hit the bottom of the table) it took our waitress some time to take our order. Like 45 minutes had passed and we realized everyone around us that came in after us was getting there food. After asking our waitress to check on our order we were told it had been lost and compensated a party of three with one piece of pie! The food wasn't all that great for the long wait. We won't be back.

  Had a great experience at the other Salt Lick location so I had really high expectation for this location as well.
  
  Ordered to go and they failed to give me any kinds of utensils (fork, knife, spoon). I'm not from the area so I was staying at a hotel and I had to contact room service to bring me some utensils before I could eat.
  
  I ordered the Thurman's choice but I failed to notice that it would come with cole slaw and potato salad. Thinking that I wasn't going to get any side items, I ordered another potato salad on the side. The waitress taking the order failed to inform me that my meal would come with a potato salad already.
  
  The brisket was underwhelming, the sausage was pretty average. The ribs were my favorite meat and I'm usually more of a brisket guy. The BBQ sauce was really good, but I doubt you can mess that up since they sell them by the bottles.
  
  If anything, I'd go back to the other location. This one was just meh.

  You NEED to check this place out it's so good and you NEED to try the peach cobbler. I absolutely LOVE this place and hope to come more often. The employees are very nice, and yes it may be a little crowded but that's because the place is really good and many people like it. Also...we came as a family of 9 and didn't wait more than 5 minutes. Love this place!!!!

  Excellent BBQ. Throw a dart at the menu, it's all good. This one has a good outdoor play area for kids. Not BYO like Driftwood but still great BBQ.
