  Finally tried this place out today with my girlfriend and I wish I would have come sooner. The food is great, atmosphere is great and so is the staff.
  
  They bring the pimiento cheese dip as a sample and it tasted so good we ordered it as an appetizer. We then ordered the chicken fried chicken and chicken fried beef ribs. Both dishes were excellent! The meats were very tender and juicy, no knife needed.
  
  To top the meal off, we had the amazing buttermilk pie for dessert.
  
  There may be a bit of a wait to be seated, especially coming on the weekend, but it is worth it!

  Went for a birthday lunch around 1pm with no wait. Had great service! Biff was very informative.
  
  I had the salmon with lump crab salad. My friend had the sloppy burger with mixed fries. Everything was delicious! Then we had the bomb for dessert.
  
  I can't wait to go back!

  Jack Allen's has an extensive and eclectic menu, with their own twist on regional favorites. Everything we've tried there has been well-prepared and very tasty. Service is consistently good, available but not pushy.
  
  As you might expect, it's quite a popular place, and seating (not to mention parking) is difficult to find at times, especially evenings and weekends. Be sure to leave plenty of time to enjoy your time there.
